Last year, Cosentino Group was analyzed under these strict evaluations, not only for the environmental impact of ECO production in factories, but also all of its indirect and associated processes. They include more than productive processes and raw materials. The Cosentino Group becomes the first company worldwide in the countertop sector to obtain an Environmental Declaration of Products EPD , that certifies its Life-cycle analysis.

I use a trivet for any hot pot or hot dish, but then I have always used trivets on all the countertops I have had.

I also have ECO by Cosentino in my kitchen, from I was impressed by their claims that it needs no maintenance sealing or other and now I have severe dark staining around the kitchen faucet possibly due to our hard water , and no idea how to clean it, as their recommendations are to avoid all caustic or abrasive cleaning products. I have Vetrazzo also recycled glass in the bathroom, and even though they say to re-seal it, I never have and it looks great 12 years later.

I don't know how it would hold up to coffee, red wine, or soy sauce spills, but at least it hasn't had a problem with water! The bad news is that Vetrazzo was bought by Polycor, which has really under-promoted it, and now it's very hard to find. I managed to get a Vetrazzo fireplace mantel in from a fabricator who had a remnant, but now neither they nor the fabricator who did my bathroom still carry Vetrazzo. I have also had Icestone in another bathroom since I guess I am inadvertently testing all the recycled glass countertop materials and it has also held up well.

No water stains. Of the 3, Vetrazzo is my favorite because of the look the glass bits are bigger than Icestone and just beautiful, IMHO , but I would also go with Icestone again.

Don't buy ECO if you're going to have water. Indem Sie weiterhin auf der Website surfen bzw. Mehr erfahren. Ultimate Lighting Sale. Bathroom Vanity Sale. Bestselling Chandeliers and Pendants.

I am not a careful person but had no problems. I did use cutting boards and rarely put something very hot directly on it.

I kneaded dough, etc directly on it many times. Like 2 Save. Shmed 5 years ago. I just ordered Sikeston quartz from Lowes, Blanco Maple. White Diamond sparkles like that too. Like 1 Save. I was born and raised in Israel, just like Caesarstone. What a fraudulent advertisement they commit. I wander what changes they did in the stone in those 2 years.

The company will not stand behind their product. I called their US headquarters, I emailed the company in Israel and was told to try putting oil for 3 days and change it every 24 hours.

The stain is still there. I am going to call the Better Business Bureau as soon As i have some time. Like I said I was born and raised in Israel so I know when I am mistreated and will fight for my rights. Caesarstone if you read this comment you better provide me with a solution, even if it means replacing the countertop. You got more to lose than gain by ignoring me!! Outrageous company.

Silestone Qurtz vs Caesarstone Q. Mine are awful after 6 yrs!! No more crisp white background it has turned to beige and stained. Submitted warranty claim 2 times. Was denied stating sunlight caused the issue. I have 1 small shades window in my kitchen. I cant imagine homes with several windows in the kitchen. There are 2 of us living in the home and we have only ever used the recommended soap and water cleaning.

The second warranty submission blamed water?!?! OS there a kitchen with no water in it? I would stay far away from these counters. I'd say these are pretty stained. Click on photos to enlarge. Bottom right corner shows the crisp white background is now full and beige. There are over 50 pieces of glass that have popped out and chipped. We are so careful. I can not imagine homes with children ever using this product, if 2 very neat adults have experienced this. They absolutely do not stand behind there claims and sales pitch.

These are NOT non-staining. What a horrible experience we have had. I would never own Ecos countertops again. Sadly after 6 yrs of very normal use, I am so dissatisfied and disappointed in this product that I chose because it was crisp white and beautiful. Attached is the very small, very shaded window Cosentino warranty is blaming. You've picked two high-end options, one that is a featured style of their latest marketing campaign. If they're a Cosentino showroom then you can trust them.

They are trained and certified to fabricate Silestone tops. They probably also have a bottom-end price threshold; the dealer can't sell below a certain price. Maybe I'm sensitive because I'm in the business but if you want to get a second quote, go ahead.
