How does nlp differ from cbt




















CBT is mainly used in therapeutic contexts to help people reprogram their patterns of thought. For instance, many rules we learn as kids may need to be updated as our experience broadens. Mamta is a skilled coach who consistently achieves excellent results with her clients.

NLP has never been obsessed with the need to scientifically prove how it works unlike the CBT community who have invited astronomically in this pursuit — NLP has always been more obsessed with the fact the techniques and mindsets work and that we should get on with using them and making a difference and let others worry about proving how it works scientifically which Neuroscience in part has started to do.

Not sure what you're asking. NLP has been thouroughy tested in controlled trials and found to not be supperior to placibo threatment. My first published essay. And if you're doing the workbook yourself, you cannot possibly know what is and isn't a "belief. There is still an emotional fixation on it. Again, as long as there's an I-thought, there will be something to attach to mental constructs and create neuroses.
